The South African Council for Business Woman (SACBW) Garden Route hosted a successful networking morning on the 11th of August at the Wilderness Hotel.

Guest Speaker, Celeste Du Toit from Yes Paradigm, gave an inspriational talk and will be remembered by her inspiring remark: "I am too busy to live a mediocre life", surely something that all business women can associate with.

The new chairperson of the SACBW for the Garden Route, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Marketing Lecturer, Adéle Potgieter was introduced, and she invited businesswomen of all spheres of business in George, Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn to get involved with the SACBW. Adéle stressed that it was indeed a wonderful achievement for the Garden Route to have their first successful finalist in the Business Woman of the Year competition for 2015.

Lorette Grobbelaar from Oliver Tyres in Mossel Bay went through as Regional Finalist in the corporate category that took place in the Western Cape on the 6th of August. She will attend the finals at the gala event that will be hosted on the 19th September in Gauteng. The next networking breakfast at the Wilderness Hotel will be on the 15th of September.
