On Monday, 9 June 2014, the School of Management Sciences introduced their advisory board. The board consists of various academics, entrepreneurs, consultants and managers from corporate companies around Port Elizabeth. The School will collaborate with the various board members and draw on their expertise.

The Advisory Board Members are as follows:

At the launch of the Advisory Board Prof Saras Sarasvathy spoke about the important role of business in the academia and she also outlined what if is that makes someone a world-class academic.
