The focus of the symposium was on embracing economic, environmental, and societal scopes, particularly from an international business perspective. In addition, the symposium sought to explore innovative avenues and solution pathways that enable successful business transformations, addressing the global challenges of our time. The symposium aligned with Mr Mkumatela’s research interests of Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SCM) practices and Corporate Governance and Sustainability.
The symposium also included the inauguration of Prof. Anna Sabidussi as professor of the Centre of International Business Research, a research centre dedicated to sustainability transitions.
